Calculators use deterministic formulas with visible assumptions and limitations. They are designed to support planning, not replace advice from emergency services, medical professionals or utility providers.
Product recommendations
Products are considered only after the practical need is clear. We look for suitability, limitations, safety information and realistic availability. A commission never changes the conclusion, including when the best advice is to buy nothing.
Corrections and reviews
