Public visitors
The public site does not provide visitor accounts. The water, battery, power station and emergency food calculators process answers on the current browser page. The household assessment, kit builder and water storage planner also keep answers in the browser, with optional device-only saving and export. Tool answers are not sent to the server or included in analytics.
Unless you opt out, the site counts public page views, entry pages, referring website host names and time spent on visible pages in daily totals. These basic records have no visitor identifier, IP address, full referring URL or tool answer. This uses the statistical purposes exception for audience measurement. You can stop all analytics using Cookie choices in the footer, at any time and without losing access.
If you choose detailed Analytics, a random identifier on this device and a temporary visit identifier link the pages you view and their visible time. We hash those identifiers before storage. Visit records are shown for up to 90 days and deleted on the next analytics event or owner report. We do not store your IP address in analytics. Product-link clicks are counted only after this choice, in daily totals by offer, page and country. These are clicks, not confirmed purchases.
A supported server or trusted CDN may supply a country code to choose an Amazon marketplace. You can correct the country on a product page. The site does not save that country choice. The server may retain ordinary security and access logs supplied by the hosting provider.
